This weekend started off pretty rough .. there were tornadoes all around the area, some friends that live abut 60 miles north of me had one touch down just across the road from them. Scary!! did no damage to their place, but cleared a path about 100 feet wide across from them.
Today is absolutely beautiful! I went horseack riding with a friend, the woods are just so pretty this time of year.
This morning when I woke up I felt a little achy and still tired, I blew it off, but even now I still feel yucky .. even cold and it is not at all cold outside. I dunno, took a nap for about an hour and we'll see how the night progresses :|

So I just got back from going out with my son's girlfriend to watch him play in the band. Is it bad to mix white wine, red wine, Bailey's, and butterscotch schnapps?? I have a feeling I may have a headache in the morning. That's if I ever sleep, of course. Right now I have the hiccups.

We're home, from our mini-escape to Galveston. The beach house was interesting. The only TV with a small 13" for watching a movie -- not connected for TV! Also, nothing for music, either! Very wierd, I must say. We played games with PGB, watched a couple of movies, and puttered around in the boat. A very enjoyable weekend!

I did resist temptation last night and did not have the taramisu---martini that was listed as one of the drink specials------and yes I thought of you two ladies---------I was noble and had a drink in my mothers honor----a manhatten---
now what about a lemon drop ??? humm maybe we will have to bring a bottle of Rose Regale with us ????? thought of you when I was at Cost Plus----they had in in part of an Easter basket display----- all wrapped up with a pretty pink bow-------
I did forget to mention that I got an early birthday gift yesterday---
2 more Pandora beads to add to my collection----thanks to my sister in law--------an A and a cupcake for my birthday-------Liz I think you might have brought out the Pandora person in me-----
Snooze , a warm pool, that sounds good, I have had electricians here trying to figure out why some plugs stopped working. The guy keeps bringing me burnt wires, and saying things like lucky the house did not burn down. They work for awhile then go buy more stuff, they have gone shopping twice. Hmmmmmmm this is gong to run into some money. Carole is ready to move out, and is asking about the rest of our wiring, I told her we will replace it one fire at a time.
