So those that are "registered guests" at Tremont could make a reservation for us at the Rooftop Bar for Saturday evening ?
That would be April. I don't get there until Sunday Morning.
Saturday I am driving from Pensacola to Atlanta.
Get home, have a glass of wine, repack, head to the ATL at daybreak.
Flying Delta earlybird to Houston Sunday morning. I will need a drink !!!

Regarding Sunday, I'm guessing we will all get to Galveston within a couple of hours of each other. Brunch at the Galvez ends at 2:00, so that option is out. I'm working on finding another meeting place around the strand, for Sunday.

My vote is YES, stay away from the concert area, unless we have a reason to go there. The venue will be about 4-5 blocks from the Tremont. There are other options along the Strand and Mechanic Street, staying off of Harborside (concert area).
That being said..... I gladly follow the group!
Wonder who the comedians will be on the Magic? Lewis has been sailing on the Ecstasy and the Conquest a lot, so maybe we will get the luck of the draw and he will be with us on the Triumph and the Magic!
Let me see.... 7 days until Snoozeman, Norm and Ann set sail westward from Barcelona, 13 days until Mike and Carole wing their way east, 15 days until we sail on the Triumph, 20 days until Linda and April wing their way east, 21 days until ScurvyDog and Kay wing their way west and Terry drives south, and 22 days until we all have our first drink, together, on the CARNIVAL MAGIC! What did I miss?

Ray, were you able to get a direct flight to Barcelona? From California we have had to stop in the UK and Germany.
A direct flight would make the process quicker with less hassle. Have a great trip see you in Galveston....

Linda, I am guessing you are not a fan of the red and blue shirts. Sounds to me like you should help pick a shirt for the future.... I agree the red is not an easy color to wear, but the blue seems okay, remember this is coming from someone who has not purchased clothing in thirty years.....
