Headed to Mazatlan soon. Any information on great things to do would be nice. Prefer NOT to visit touristy places, but prefer quieter, beach, water or true country information.

Frank can give you great advice! He's a native and knows Mazatlan inside and out.

Concordia and other outlying towns are wonderful -- ask about those.

Thank you Harry. Hi Cece, there are beautiful places to visit in Mazatlan. I can suggest a visit to Malpica and Concordia. At the end you can do a little city tour of the old Mazatlan. On this trip you visit a brick factory (made by hand), Malpica a nice little town where they have a great bakery (mmm!) and also a floor tile factory (made with a press over a 120 years old) and then you see Concordia, a town from 1565. This is a great trip where you see the real Mexico and also you get a taste of Mazatlan at the same time. If you like more information contact me because sometimes I do not have time to check this forum. Have a great time.
