Default Taxi from LB Airport to Hilton Hotel

Does anyone have an idea how much a taxi would be from Long Beach Airport to the Hilton Hotel?

Many thanks for all your wonderful "shared" information.

Really looking forward to exploring Long Beach and the Southern California area~~ any suggestions on the "must sees"?

Carolyn, it's worth a shot, but call the Hilton and see whether they can arrange for their shuttle to pick you up. The airport is just across the freeway from the mian hotel area in Long Beach, so I would say you are looking at a 7 mile taxi ride at most -- say about $25.

Long Beach is great for tourists, because they have the red trolley that stops at all the main attractions. Also, there is a water taxi that will take you to the major sites, too, which include the Queen Mary, the port village (great restaurants), the Pike area, the aquarium, etc.

Here is the LB tourist info ... click on things to do, and they have a great suggested itinirary.

Hope this helps.

Hello Suefish

We live in NY, flying out of Newark on Southwest. Got a decent airfare (I think it was $230per person).
JetBlue was about $10 less but, Newark is much easier for us to get to.

Let me know what you find for yourself.
Good Luck
Carolyn

I want to fly America West but from Kansas city to LGB they want $320 per person. Southwest air is the cheapest flying to LAX. Hopefully America West will go down for us. Did you book on your own or go through a travel agent?

Hello Suefish

I shop Expedia and then I go directly to the website of the individual carriers that we want to fly with.
Have you tried Alaska Air, I think they fly into LGB. As does Jet Blue, but don't think you have one out of your area.
Good luck, let me know how you do.
We purchased our tickets in November for early January flight.
