We will be in Ensenada Apr 15 on the Monarch and I am thinking of doing the horse drawn carriage tour and I'm also trying to find the BEST lobster lunch there...can you help? Also, we prefer to wander around on our own and discover things vs. an organized tour, suggestions?? Mucho gracias!! (I'm experienced traveler taking my not-so-experienced mom on her first cruise)
Well, I have been waiting for someone to reply to your post becasue we are goping on the MOS in June and I was wanting to see where to get the best lobster, becasue I've heard that they dont offer it in the dining room on 3 and 4 night cruises. So, when you get back, be sure to post if you found a good place to have lobster....I'll be waiting!
I did get a couple of responses here. http://forum.virtualtourist.com/6/di...mcDUrDbwRSt7W0 But I will be sure to let you know! Turns out mom doesn't like lobster but I still want to find a good one so I'll be sure to post my review! We are doing sail-away in the Royal Suite with friends so that will be alot of fun!

Sake, the El Rey Sol on Lopez Mateos is a gorgeous formal restaurant, with top service. We always stop at the El Cid Hotel instead, and have a fantastic lunch there. I've been to both, and I would say you will be quite pleased at either.
