it safe to tour Cabo without a tour? What is interesting there?
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
Cabo is very safe. You can book a glass bottom boat to take you out to the arches for about $10.00 per person right at the pier. It is very cool to see the arches and rocks up close from the perspective of a small boat. If you like, you can arrange for the boat to drop you off at Lover's Beach and come back for you in a couple of hours. We met some people who hired a water taxi to take them to one of the resorts, that sounded fun. We also walked around town, it's really a pretty port, and had lunch along the marina area (past the lighthouse). Of course there is the obligatory stop at Cabo Wabo Cantina if you are into that kind of stuff, I didn't think it was that great though, but I think it depends on whether there is a band playing that day, otherwise it's kind of boring.
