Calica is a gravel pit.. literally. Grab a cab to Playa del Carman.. its wonderful there. You can also grab a cab to Xcaret. That place is amazing. We did both in one day.

Even if you don't get off the snorkeling boat, you've gotta do Stingray City Snorkel at Grand Cayman at least once. This is an amazing experience that you can't find anywhere else I know of.
the port itself has nothing to offer but there are several attractions nearby such as Xcaret, Xel-Ha, Tulum and Playa del Carmen is just a 10 minute taxi ride away for great shopping and beaches...good luck!
