Default excursions

I was wondering about those too, I wish someone would give an update, there are lots of excursions that sound fun, it is hard to pick. I think the rhthyms of the night excursion sounds fun, but I'd like to read some personal input before choosing, hopefully someone will chime in

Default America's Cup Challenge - Vallarta

The wife and I did this excursion last November. They have two boats from the 2000 America's Cup race series. I think they were part of Team New Zealand.

The excursion is three head-to-head races around a tri-angle bouy course. Participants take on the roles of various crew members and work those crew positions. High physical effort positions include Main and Jib grinders. Low physical effort positions include time keeper and iceberg watcher (my wife). I sail a bit and was given the opportunity to man the helm for two of the three races.

If you are into sailing and race sailboats on a regular basis, this is a great excursion. Boats are 80-foot long, feature 100 foot tall masts and booms so long that they have two backstays.

They did not allow us to take any photographs while aboard the boats. The best time for this excursion is early afternoon as there is very little wind before 11 AM on a typical day.

Enjoy!
