Default Voyager of the Seas to Canada/New England

We are planning a family reunion cruise for July of 2004 and are looking at the canada/ new england destination. Has anyone been on this cruise in the past? How is the weather? What is there to do off of the ship? We have all been on other cruises and this would be our first royal caribbean cruise.

We are also planning a family reunion in July 2004 but on Carnival. After being on 6 Royal Carribean (carribean destinations) I don't know what to expect from Carnival's Canadian/New England. Is it good for kids? Any comments/suggestions would be helpful.

Jamie, please post your ports-of-call so that we can help. July in New England is summer. The weather is warm, sometimes humid and hot.

Nice to finally find fellow cruisers. Doesn't seem like this ship is to full yet, guess that might be a good thing??????? Anyone cruising with kids?

We are booked on this cruise. We are from Georgia and plan to make the long drive up for this cruise. We have been on 4 cruises out of Florida (short drive!) but just decided to do something a little different for a change. Our daughters are 18 and 21. You will know us.....we are the 4 folks with VERY Southern accents. My husband and I just returned from a 7 day cruise for our 30th anniversary (first vacation in 27 years without children), it was wonderful but our two youngest are great fun so hope to see you.

My family are going on Voyager August 8th to Canada, after you get back please post how your trip was from beginning to end - ie: did you park - how was the shuttle - how was the food- was there enough entertainment for you 15 to 20 year olds, how was Halifx and St. John's- and last but not least - disemabarking from ship- also taking 80 year old Grandma, along with her older brother and sister, so I need to know these answers if at all possible. Thank you to anyone who answers any and all of my questions! It will be greatly appreciated!!!
