It depends upon the ship. Most ships now have one swimming pool that's under a retractable dome and heated for year-round use even in cooler areas.

I will be on the Victory. I was hoping to get some sun and hang out pool-side even though it is the 2nd week in Sept. Guess you just never know.

Normal daytime temperatures in Bostin are in the upper 70's to lower 80's that time of year, but either significantly warmer (lower 90's) or significantly cooler (upper 60's) weather is possible. The weather probably will be a few degrees cooler when you get further north. It might be a bit cool for swimming, but probably warm enough for sunbathing.

We usually have beautiful weather in New England in September. Bring your swimsuit., just know that the temperatures can vary greatly. It could be cool and in the 60's or it could be hot, muggy and in the 80's

Thank you so much for all the input. I know that it is hard to determine the weather conditions, but was hoping that a tan would still be in the cards for us. We are sun worshipers and enjoy hanging out poolside sipping cocktails.

September is hit or miss weather wise. I've noticed the minute Labor Day weekend is over, the temperatures plummet.

I would say its still warm, but probably as you go farther North, it'll get chillier.
