lunch in Halifax
We will be returning to Halifax on Labor Day. We plan to visit Maritime Museum & just walk around harbor area--what is the best lunch rec in walking distance to pier? We had a nice time at O'Carrolls last time but would like to try something else--closer to ship if possible... Thanks

There are a bunch of nice restaurants along the Halifax waterfront. You could try out the lower/middle/upper deck restarants that are all within one building right across from the Sharaton Hotel and Casino. It's on the opposite end of the pier from where the cruise ships dock. Also, as you walk up from the Sharaton toward Citadel hill you'll find tons of pubs! There's also a waterfront restaurant that serves food on the pier, but I can't remember the name of it. It's perhaps called Salty's. You'll have a good time no matter where you go!
