I'm going on the Dawn in November and I'm going to be doing a park excursion too. I can only tell you what I've found out so far since I haven't actually done the excursion yet.

The cruise line doesn't sell Disney tickets but they do run a shuttle. The price for a round trip ride is $35 for an adult (not sure for a child, slighty lower I guess). The shuttle leaves the boat at 9 am and you have about 6 hours in the park so I'm guessing that the shuttle will be leaving Disney at about 4 or 5 o'clock (roughly). I think it's about an hour ride. A ticket to get into Disney will run about $45-50 for an adult. I'm sure someone else here has more accurate info but that's pretty close.

The cruise line does sell tickets to the Universal Parks and they are $85 for an adult and that includes the round trip shuttle. They also have an express pass excursion for the Universal Parks for $165.

If you go to NCL.com and click "shore excursions" on the bottom it will bring you to a page and from there you can click "Caribbean" and it will bring up a link to download a PDF file. The last page of the file has the prices for all the excursions.

I hope this helped.

I sailed on the Dawn in June and can tell you that we did not book any trips to Orlando's theme parks and perhaps it was a good thing. Although the ship doesn't leave Port Canaveral until late in the day - say 9:30 p.m. or so - everyone has to be back on the ship before 5:00 p.m. I'm not sure if this holds true for persons visiting a theme park, but I don't think it's worth the expense. Furthermore, the buses do not depart unitl 9:00-9:30 and I understand it takes about 1.5 hours to travel to Orlando.

Is it true you have to be back on the ship by 5 even though you don't leave until 10pm. I might rent a car which will be cheaper with 5 people. How much time did they give you at disney.... what time did you leave disney.

I just got back from the Dawn yesterday. While I did not go on the Disney trip, I don't think people needed to be back on board until 9:30. The restaurants were very emprty that night!

On the cruise i just came back on the ship had to turn back and was late getting to port canaveral. there was along line waiting to get off and i heard from people who went to disney that they got there at around 12:30 and had to be back on the bus at 4:30 since the ship was sailing at 5:30. They got to go on three rides. One teacher i spoke with said he asked for a refund but was told that it was not there fault and they would not honor his request. Save your money and take the kids there another day. it is not worth it. By the way if you have kids who are not potty trained they are not allowed in the kiddie pool. I found out the hard way when myself and three year old were escorted from the pool by two security guards.

The ship sailed at 5:30???? On the website it says 10 pm and some dates are 8 pm but I've never seen one that said they sailed at 5:30. Was there a problem of some sort that made them sail early?

We went in July but went to Universal Studios. The bus leaves at 9:30am to go to ORlando. Its a 45 minute drive. The buses started to leave at 6PM, the last bus left at 7PM from universal. We got the express tickets to the park. Well worh it. Went on every ride with the longest wait 10 minutes. Without the express pass, some rides were up to 2 hours wait.
