I am booked on the Norwegian Jewel, and have an iside cabin on II deck. From the deck plan it appears that we are directly under the pool and grill. I have been told that this could be quite noisy, and that friends of ours were on cruise recently (not NCL) and that they could hear the pool filling/emptying, is this right. Also there appears to be nothing either side of the two cabins, does this mean laundries etc. Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but we are new to cruising. Thanx
My room on the Dawn was under their Garden Cafe which has a lot of traffic. It was really quiet especially when there were hundreds of people in the area. We could hear what we assumed was kids running late at night. It never kept us awake. Our friends we under the night club/disco and they never heard a sound! Every ship is different but the Jewel is new and I would think it is as sound proof as the Dawn.
