Default Star Balcony Question

Hello all,

We are leaving on The Star in two weeks! There are a number of us with adjoining cabins and were wondering if the balcony doors open? If so, do we need a room steward or can we do it with a screwdriver?

Any other helpful hints would be appreciated. Thanks :o)

Annie

Hi,

I returned from the Star on 1/12.
I was travelling with 3 friends and we had mini suites that were next door to each other with balconies.
We were on deck 11 -- 11076 & 11072.
We got a Steward to open up the one door on the balconies between the two suites that could be opened. There seem to be two doors but the one closest to the water can not be opened.
The door was framed and the frame had to be stepped over to go to the next balcony.
It was great having the door open between the two.

Enjoy!
