Default Hawaiian cruise--ideas for single travelers

Hi all,
I am considering a cruise to Hawaii on either September 30/Pride of America or October 1/Pride of Aloha and need to book one soon. Has anyone traveled on either of these ships before that can advise as to if one is more single-friendly over another with activities and hospitality? I am also open to the possibility of sharing with someone with similar interests or background.
Thanks for the input.

Hi kg1princess,

Welcome to Cruisemates!

Be sure to post your question on the "Singles" board, too. It's here:

Sorry I can't help with the ship info since we haven't done Hawaii yet .

Hope you find someone nice to share with and have a wonderful cruise!

I would go with the Pride of America over Pride of Aloha. I did the Pride of Aloha for my honeymoon. It is a very tiny ship. We had a good time but I would definitly choose the pride of hawaii or the pride of america the next time I go.

For you, I think your best bet is Pride of America. I don't know too much about singles, but there will definitly be more people on the ship. You might even want to try a roll call and see if you can find others going.

Definitly, DO NOT do the Pride of Hawaii, this ship leaves on a Monday, which attracts more honeymooners.
