Default Dinner Service on POH

I just read a "review" about the POH and the author was complaining that her waiter would only give her a choice of either soup, salad or appitizer, but only one of the three. Can this be true? I admit to being a "good" eater and I almost always enjoy all three before my main course. My goodness I might starve! This was in the main dining room! Has annyone experienced this? Jimbo

Sailed the POH March 26-April 2. We ate twice in both dinning rooms and we were offered a complete menu. I enjoyed the food in the Grand Pacific more than in the Alizar, but that may be attributed to the selections offered. The Maryland crabcake in the Grand Pacific was delicious.

I don't have any idea what she would have been referring to, that just plain isn't the case. In fact the only time I have come across this is when cruising on Celebrity in the specialty dining room. There you do have to make a choice. The price for the dinner is $30 and you get your choice of appitizer, soup or salad, embree and dessert. NMnita

Thanks nita, I always appreciate your imput. It's funny how people often take some small thing that might have happened on thier cruise, remember it incorrectly, then creat some major problem in thier minds.

A cruise what you make of it and not letting the small stuff spoil your fun. I just can't wait to sail around Hawaii. Jimbo
