Default San Pedro to LAX

Does anyone know the taxi fare from the pier in San Pedro to LAX for two?

Any problem finding a taxi?

Anyone had experience with Supershuttle?

It used to be about $30 but I would guess it is closer to $40 now. STill cheaper than super shuttle, as they charge per person.

If you ride in a Red Van or one of those, the cost is $16.00 per person plus tip. If you take a taxi, it will cost you a lot more. The ride is about 45-50 minutes.

golly Jan I have done it many times and dont think it takes quite that long, but it depends on traffic of course. I figured the price had gone up some, but if you take 3 or 4 in a taxi it is still not a bad deal and more convenient.

I guess it's a matter of opinion.

I've made the trip at least six times. It does take about 40 minutes ish. We did the cab thing with 4 once and it did cost us more for some reason even splitting it, not a lot more, but a little. It's cheaper to go in the vans with other people. I like it better anyhow, because it's fun to talk to everyone about where they are cruising to.

Better and fun, I agree. We had a blast taking the van from London to Dover even though we had a few problems. I am not sure why it cost more for 4 of you on in a taxi, but if it did I understand your advising using the van.
