Default Drink prices

I was told drink prices on the Norwegian Pearl are higher than most ships.

What can I expect to pay for a beer? Mixed drink? Wine? Is there a gratuity tax on this as well.

by the way, its not the same as buying duty free......you pay full price but you get to have it the entire cruise..if you buy duty free, you dont get that til the last night of the cruise

Prices will be the same on all NCL ships. We just got off the Star: I don't drink beer so have no idea the prices, but wine: by the glass, starts at about $6.00: cocktails including Magaritas are $5.95 and up, again you have to be careful about brands. If you don't let them know they will give you the most expensive brands. Bottles of wine run about $30-40.00. The bar set up will cost between $40 and $55 per liter depending on the brand you choose and must be ordered 2 weeks prior to cruising. Yes, prices are on the high side, about the same as all lines and similar to big cities. I stayed at Embassy suites the night before the cruise: least expensive wine , $8.00 per glass. How you feel about the prices probably depends on where you live and how close you are to a major city.
