We had such a good time on our first NCL cruise on the Dawn that we took advantage of the OBC promo for putting down a deposit during the cruise. My comment to NCL on this thread however is, that I think they are missing a great opportunity.
We attended one of the future cruise presentations on board to get some more info before we did the deposit and, frankly, the presentation was not that great. The speaker was late, many of us almost left before he finally arrived. The presentation was Power Point and just skimmed over the information about their fleet and what they offer.
What a missed opportunity. NCL has a captive audience at these presentations that are present because they are VERY interested in booking a future cruise. I was a little surprised that they didn't have a video presentation (why not just do one to use on all cruises?) and other staff present to answer questions and, honestly, sell people on some cruises. We were prepared to put down a deposit at that meeting and perhaps even book a cruise if we had been able to - no dice.
Anyway, this is not a complaint. I could care less how NCL sells their cruises but as a business person who does very similar stuff, I really believe they are missing the boat here - pun intended.
