Now it's back on - I'm watching "burn the floor" some of the new entertainment on the ship. They were in the Manhattan room.

It's funny to see they are tracking the number of live viewers, less than 5000.

But why are we hearing from the Minister of Tourism for Bahamas, the room steward, all the entertainers.... Who is George Frittata? Who called him "Kevin Shee-hee?"

Has anyone seen "Cirque Dreams" yet? How come they won't show that room anyplace?

(You know, I guess I have seen too many of these cereminies, I've gotten cynical, but this one does seem to be really long - close to two hours already).

Hmmm.... I guess that was the christening. One of the Rockettes refered to herself as a "rocket" (not an English major).

Here is Rock of Ages... is that the star of "Rock of Ages?" (I thought he was going to look like Tom Cruise). Love the Tux T-shirt.

OH! I see, its another guy.

So, people get a look at "Cruise Ship Entertainment" -- Funny. I like the guitar player, even better how he came on stage to play the solo the actor couldn't play (a little different from the movie, but oh well).

How did Carlo the Baker end up being the Master of Ceremonies here?

Dave Beers May 8th, 2013 05:39 PM

The celebrity baker being the emcee was indeed strange. Plus his wearing a chef uniform throughout the show looked awkward to me.

I wonder if they hid all the large sized cups and glasses until Bloomberg had left the ship? ;)
