Default Aurora back...

I see Aurora has returned from her long voyage, I wonder what it must be like to have spent 100 odd days on a ship AND how it must feel to get off after all that time...must be a bit strange, anyone done this??

I've never done a cruise that long. A couple of 14 day cruises are the longest I've been at sea.

I often think about how wonderful it would be on a world cruise but then I think about the numerous sea days and the costs above and beyond the cruise price and think that maybe shorter cruises would be better.

I would like to find out.

Take care,

Default dunno..

We always thought a world cruise would be our dream holiday(apart from all the problems of work, dogs, grandchildren etc), BUT on our last cruise (P&O Arcadia) we did get a bit fed up when we were at sea in not so good weather for days at end. These worldies have 5 or 6 days in a row sometimes so now we don't know....too much money really as well.
