Going on our first Princess cruise in Feb. Just saw a message regarding pool and beach towels taht said that there are no towels at the pool area. Your room stewart leaves you one in your room each night. Does taht maen tah tyou have to carry your towel around teh ship all day. What if you swin and get the towel wet? What do you do with it when you go into buffet for lunch? Are there towels available to check out at the door as you leave for shore excursions? Or do you use the same towel thats left in your room?
You can ask your room steward for more than one towel. Leave both of them on your lounge chair when youswim. Carry a tote big enough to carry one towel and wrap the other one around your middle and let it fall down your legs like a sarong.
As Carole noted, you can ask your cabin steward(ess) for extra towels.
It's best to bring some sort of cover-up to wear over your bathing suit, but you can just slip on a t-shirt and a pair of shorts over your swimsuit if you don't have a cover-up. The modern nylon-lycra swimsuits dry very quickly, so this is quite workable.
