Default smoke smell

Anyone have a "good" method of removing the "smoke" odour from your cabin if the previous occupants were heavy smokers?

There is only one smoke-free ship that I know of and that is not an option

Thanks,

Willy

there is a great product called Citrus Magic, you can get it any grocery store or discount store, it has an orangy smell, eliminates odors doesn't cover them up. Its the only thing that i have found that really works on smoky smells. If you have a balcony, leave the door open and let the fresh air in to the room.

The cabin stewards do a very good job cleaning up after smokers. My wife is very sensitive and has only had a problem once. The cabin steward suggested changing the bedspread and we had no further issues.

Most ships do something, because we've never had a cabin that smelled of smoke. I've heard ships use something special and it sure seems to work.

We had smokers next to us. The cabin steward had 4 different bottles of "stuff" they used to clean the cabin every day. I'm sure they do a lot more work keeping those cabins clean.

A orange-citrus spray is best...real aromatherapy, NOT perfume...oil from actual oranges works like magic. I get it at the health food store.

Fantastic, thank you all.

I've seen the citrus-orange spray you mentioned and will get some. Brand name "Citruscent" if I'm not mistaken. I'll watch for "Citrus Magic" also.
