Default Help with makeup on Sapphire Princess LA to Sydney cruise in

Hi, I am wondering if there is anybody on this cruise who could help my fiance with her makeup on our wedding day? We are getting married on the ship on 26th November (at sea day) in the afternoon. The wedding co-odinator tells us there is nobody in the lotus spa,etc who can do her makeup! There are just the two of us, and I don't think she would want me to do it :-)

So if there is anybody who is experienced in this area, any help would be much appreciated... We would pay for your time to do it.

Many thanks,

Andrew - i find it very hard to belive that there is not a stylist in the hair salon that could do wedding make-up. I would do some checking into that, have your TA call Princess special services department

Andrew, like Lisa says, call Princess and ask them to find someone who will do your make up for your wedding. They will have someone I am sure. Princess always solves your problems if you ask. One of the stylists on board surely is trained in makeup. Best Wishes and have a great time on board.

Andrew, I would think that someone could possibliy do her make-up from the salon, but do not count on them being very good at it. And count on it being exspensive.
Does your fiancee have mobility or vision problems that would make it difficult for her to do her own make-up? If not, then she should do it herself, sometimes having someone else do it can be a mistake, they may not be very good, or worse, they may make her look like someone she is not! Many brides like to do themselves, I know that I did, and that most of my friends did, and not to save money ( we could afford it if we wanted it) but to get the look we wanted. If she doesn't wear a lot of makeup now she could start practice sessions, and better yet , go in somewhere in your himetown and have a make-up artist apply and TEACH her how to do it herself! Many malls have Merle Normans, and although they are technically trying to sell you make-up they will have a specialist apply and instruct you how to use the make-up.
Good luck, and BTW how nice of you to try and help find someone to help her!
"A bride should not look like someone else on her wedding day, but like the best possible version of herself" ... I just read that in a wedding magazine, and I believe it to be true, I also think all brides are beautiful because they are " glowing " with happiness!
