Does anyone know the drinking age limits on a few different cruiselines( mostly princess)? Also, i heard that even though the drinking age is 21 on some ships that you are still allowed a glass of wine or beer with dinner, is this true. My boyfriend and i are going on our first cruise in may. He is 23 and i am 20 ( I will be 21 not even a month after we go), but this was the only time i could take my vaction time from work. Any info... greatly appreciated!! thanks! So if my boyfriend ordered 2 drinks at dinner and handed me one would the waiter allow this?
There are ways around it if your savy. Tell your boyfriend to pre order your favorite liquor for the cabin through the cruise line gift registry. Call the cruise line direct to order. You will have to pay ahead of time. princess leaves a gift card in your cabin. When you arrive in your cabin just advise the cabin steward. He will make sure it arrives quickly.
Aly, you will not be allowed to purchase alcohol yourself. If your boyfriend orders two drinks at dinner, you may or may not be asked to show your card, it up to the discretion of your waiter. You will not be served at any bars, but if your boyfriend orders two drinks, you may or may not be asked to show your card, again its up to the disccretion of your server, also you will not be able to get into the disco, they "card" at the entrance.
