Default Where to park in Ft. Lauderdale

Can anyone please give me advice on the most convenient place to park when sailing out of Port Everglades? Thanks.

Two years ago, we spent the night at Amerisuites in Ft. Lauderdale near the Port and they allowed us to park free for the week of the cruise. They had a shuttle to the Port.

i've never sailed out of port everglades before...but based on what i've found online...you can park at the port for $10 a day, i think it is...or you can use the park n fly that services the airport, and they allow port everglades parking, for $7.50/day....free shuttle to the port. i don't remember their website, but i found them by doing a google on park n fly...the maps on their site show you that you're just a few minutes away, at the park n fly.

We parked and will be parking at the garage right there at the ship. It is $9 or $10 a day and is so well worth it to be able to walk off the ship and right into your car.

we parked at the park n' fly...used to be for the airport only, but they now allow you to park there for the cruise ships, as well. the shuttle virtually followed us to our parking spot, loaded our luggage from our vehicle to the bus, and took us to port everglades...i would guess it was about a 4-5 minute trip. on our return (this past saturday)...we called the number we'd been given, as soon as we found our bags...there was a short walk to the pickup spot...but no further than if we'd parked in the port lot... i think we waited perhaps 6 or 7 minutes for the shuttle..which took us directly to our vehicle, and helped us load the luggage back on the vehicle. cost for 1 week -- i think it was $47...plus tip.

i'd do this again, in a heartbeat

I'm staying at Hampton Inn (near the port). They say they will let me park there (for a small fee) for the week and will shuttle me to the ship.

$12 is still worth the price of walking off the ship and being at your car. You pay that price at most airports.
