Default Seattle - Taxi/Limo

We're sailing Inside Passage out of Seattle in a few weeks. Opted out of the Princess transfers since we're arriving a few days before the cruise. Hoping someone can tell us how far it is from the airport to the Mariott Waterfront....and cost of taxi vs. limo? Thanks.

Just off the Diamond from Seattle and it was wonderful.. We arrived in Seatle on Wednesday and took a limo to the Crowne Plaza from the airport for $35.00. The Marriott is a little further but not much we walked to the Mariott from our hotel. At the baggage claim area there is counter and someone will tell you the price of the taxi vs. limo. It was $28.00 from the ship back to the airport. Have a great trip.

BMK: thanks for the info. We're really looking forward to this cruise. We usually book the Princess transfers, but plan to spend a day in Seattle (pre-cruise). We had quite an experience with the transfer system in LA last fall and thought we'd try a taxi or limo. This will be our first trip to Alaska. Do you have any words of advice for first-timers?

It was our first trip tp Alaska as well. Alaska was absolutley amazing. My advice would be to venture beyond the towns there is so much to see and experience in each port. Are you doing any excursions? We did whale watch, mountain biking and kayaking. You will also really enjoy Seatttle it is a very visitor friendly city with lots to see and do.
