I (31 & HOLDING)AM SAILING WITH MY FAMILY IN DECEMBER- MY MOM (58), GRANDMOTHER (94) AND 2 KIDLETS (7 & 11) LOOKING FOR FELLOW SHIP MATES. WE HAVE CONNECTIONS IN HONDURAS- SINCE THE CRUISE LINE DOESN'T- THIS WILL BE MY 3RD TIME THERE TO THE ISLANDS. BEST PORT. ANY WAY, LOTS OF QUESTIONS- TEXAS CRUISER WAS VERY HELPFUL- NEVER BEEN ON PRINCESS BEFORE SAILED WITH NORWEIGEN. LOVED IT, JUST WANTED TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT STILL INCLUDED THE ROATAN, HONDURAS. I HAVE HEARD DIFFERENT THINGS ON THE SODA DEAL- 3.99 PER DAY... ETC. MY FAMILY AND I ARE BIG SODA DRINKERS. IF WE PICK THE MAIN DINING, CAN WE MISS IT AND GO TO THE ANYTIME DINING THAT TIME? WHAT IS THE GENERAL AVG AGE ON BOARD AND HOW MANY KIDS ARE THERE? THANKS!!
My DH and I will also be on the 12/16 cruise and we are also from Arkansas. What town are you in? We are in Mountain Home. This will be our 3rd cruise together. First time on Princess and to the Western Carribean. I don't know much about the soda deal but as I understand it, if you choose anytime dining you have to stay with that. Would like to hear from you.
MY FAMILY, INCLUDING CHILDREN AND GRAND CHILDREN, JUST GOT BACK FROM GRAND PRINCESS OUT OF GALVESTON. BIG SCREEN ON TOP DECK IS GREAT. MOVIES ALL DAY TIL 2200. IF YOU GO TO A DINNING ROOM YOU CAN CHANGE WHEN YOU WISH, HOWEVER, YOUR WAITER WILL NOT BE HAPPY. ANYTIME IS PROBABLY THE BETTER ONE TO CHOOSE. SHIP WAS NOT TOO CROWDED. SHOWS WERE GOOD. GALVESTON IS A GOOD PORT. GIADO"S SEASIDE INN IS A GOOD PLACE TO STAY. EXCELLENT DINNING. HAVE FUN.
We were on Grand Princess for New Year's 2005. We loved it
If you choose Traditional Seating for dinner and are going to miss it, you should call or go by and tell the person at the desk in your dining room, so your tablemates won't be waiting for you.
We loved the Anytime Dining. We always asked to be seated with others and never had a wait.
There were people of all ages aboard.
Also from AR (LR).
Have a great cruise!
