First time cruising. Discovered tonight that the day the ship leaves is my sons High School Graduation. The second day the Caribbean Princess is at the Princess Cays, Bahamas. I'm hoping I can fly there?? The cruise line said I can join the ship late but I'm not sure how to arrange this...has anyone else ever had to do this? Help - I'm sick over this and embarrassed to tell the "others" in my group about my mess up until I have a solution....thanks for any help.
I really doubt that you can fly to Princess Cays, but you could join in St. Thomas or St. Maarten.
Why not just change sailing dates? If you are in a penalty right now, what you are going to have to pay to fly in and join the ship, you'd probably be able to switch to a different sailing.
