Is Princess a “teen friendly cruise line? Are there many teen activities and teens on board? We are thinking of cruising to Europe in July 2008. The only real activity I want on board is a dance club for teens. Any feedback on this would be great. :]

All of the teens that I have met on thirteen (13) cruises with Princess seemed to be having a great time. All but three of the line's ships have a dedicated teen club, teen counsellors, and a teen program. The teen program includes a teen disco in the evening.
MV Pacific Princess, MV Tahitian Princess, and MV Royal Princess do not have a dedicated teen club, but they used the card room for that purpose during my cruise aboard MV Tahitian Princess. These three ships have teen counsellors and a teen program only when there are fifteen or more minors onboard.
Not that Princess is particularly teen UNfriendly, but there is much more activity geared toward this age group on Carnival and RCCL.

unfortunatley European cruises on ANY line don't attract nearly as many familes with teens as say a Caribbean cruise would. I don't know which Princess ships in particular sail Europe but you would want to book onto the larger Grand Class ships to get the most activities and most varied age range of passengers

That varies widely with sailing date and possibly itinerary. There were over 200 children, youth, and teens aboard my European cruise aboard (the original) MV Royal Princess in June of 2001, and that ship carried only 1200 passengers -- which means that minors were nearly 20% of the vessel's capacity. That ship also did not have children's, youth, or teen centers, and Princess's staff did a terrific job of scheduling activities so they were never in the way of adult activities.
