It was purely coincidental that I had the before pictures and that we were able to find the exact spots afterwards.

IMO I think you are making Cozumel look much worse than it is.

As bad as it was and as sad, most of it is back to normal, as good or better in some cases. The pictures shared can bring us to reality and yet mean little today. You are right, though it may have been bad, we can be thankful things have improved. Let's hope this summer doesn't do the damage the experts are perdicting. Of course they seem to have a habit of being off base. I think my only worry is with the horrible tornado season this year is the hurricane season going to follow?
