Default What's Your Favorite Public Room on Princess?

It's been several years since I cruised Princess. That's going to change in Feb. when the CruiseMates group sails to Hawaii and back on Sapphire.

But, I remember on the Island I loved the Wheelhouse Bar, not so much on the Grand Class ships.

Which public rooms are your favorite?

We love "Crooner's" bar on all the Princess ships we've been on. Sometimes it's called the Martini Bar. IMHO, they put the best bartender's and bar waiter's at Crooner's. It's also the Piano Bar starting at about 9 PM. One of the main reason's we like this bar is that it's not noisy! We can talk to each other and to other people without screaming !

Talking Favorite Public Room

We like the piano bar, too. And the observation bar on the top deck, disremember the name. One cruise they had a classical guitarist up there that my wife fell in love with ...

We really love the Wheelhouse bar, and we always spend time there when we cruise. If not then we will head to Crooner's.

We just cruised on the Golden r/t Hawaii and loved the Explorer's Lounge better than the Wheelhouse Bar, better band and seating. The band Indigo was fantastic - Hi Angela and boys - We also made friends with bartender Ryan who learned to make my drink. We were there a lot for Trivia, Marriage Game, Family Feud, etc. Great cruise!

We love the Wheelhouse Bar...subdued lighting, wood, leather, reminiscent of an old library....with a little hot chocolate and Amaretto of course!

Kuki... Mac and I are looking forward to meeting you, your lovely wife, and other Cruisemates on the Get Lei'd cruise this coming February. We're counting the days!

I'm with Fern on this one - Crooners on all ships is the best! We seemed to always stop there for a drink and end up staying. Great bar staff - we especially luv Ronnie and Bonnie our Philipino bar tenders. They were the best!!!!
