Default Grandeur

Has anyone sailed on Granduer of the Seas? I am sailing from San Juan on Dec 30. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. We are booked in an Ocean View Suite on Deck 8. Pictures would be great too.
Thanks-
Tom

You are in for a treat. I sailed the Grandeur in Feb 99 and am booked Dec 2, 2000. The Grandeur is a lovely ship, all cream and gold marble, teak, brass, lots of windows. The Great Gatsby dining room really pretty and has that old 20's and 30's elegance. The stairway is the centerpiece of the room.
I especially liked the Winjammer buffet with it's crisp look and great views. Make sure you go up to the Viking Crown lounge for more great vistas. The solarium pool is another elegant area. You are sure to enjoy the Grandeur. I am counting the days until I sail on her again.....only 31 to go!!! Will really get excited when the docs come in. Happy sailing.
Judy

Tom, another poster told me about this site. Our first cruise is on the Grandeur in January. The site is www.Cruiseone.com. Its a virtual 360 degree view of the ship. Click on your state then on town near you. Then go to the ship . I found that small pictures loaded faster. It gave us a great idea of what to expect. Enjoy!
