Default explorer in july

hi everyone,

i have been reading all of your posts and am looking forward to seeing the explorer in july. i have two questions for all of you

1. is there much movement on the ship. i dont actually get sea sick but always feel that i have to be in control of the movement which makes it uncomfortable
i am very sensitive!
2. do they still offer the dolphin swim? i noticed that they have the encounter but cant see anything about the swim....is it worth it?

thanks for all your replies

Hi Mary,
There is a dolphin swim in Nassau you can book yourself before you leave:

I'm also leaving tomorrow for Explorer, will write a review when I get back, YEA

Dear Mary

We were on Voyager which I assume will be similar in terms of its movement. On 4 days I wouldn't have known I was on a ship, but on 2 days the Captain said there would be a 6 ft swell in the evening (this was after Labadee). Anyway, I did feel a gentle sway from side to side and like you I was worried that I would get motion sickness. So I took a quarter of a dramamine and that was all I needed to calm me. I was fine. My daughter was a little worse, but she too was OK with a small piece of dramamine.
Anyway, for the most part I think you will be fine. Lots of people were wearing patches, but I did not need that much.

Have a great time
Anita

Hi, Mary!

We're on Explorer in July too (14-21). Any chance you're sailing the same week? Let me know.
