Default Calling all former "Explorers"

Calling all former "Explorers",

I am sailing on the Explorer 9/29/01. If you have sailed the Explorer before, please let me know. Are there are any "Theme nights' to either get planned for or get ready to avoid? Also we will be at sea on my birthday, what shipboard birthday celebrations have you seen?
Michelle

Hi Michelle,
Be sure to mention the "birthday" to your travel agent, you should get a nice cake that night at dinner. Also was on Explorer last spring and it was the best cruise ever, you will have a ball! Enjoy!

Michelle:

Happy birthday in advance! I celebrated my birthday on Explorer in July. My family told the waiter, etc., and I got a very nice cake (square and enough for everyone). And it was really good too. And, of course, they sang Happy Birthday. There were other birthdays that week too. They announced some out by the pool the same day as mine (but I didn't say anything) and Jim Nabors even said Happy Birthday to someone who also shared my birthday. If they know about it, you will be honored.

The theme nights they had on our cruise that I remember right now were country western and toga (they supply the sheets). There were others. I can check for you later and let you know (saved the Compass, etc.). Anyway, you are going to have a GREAT time. The Explorer is a wonderful ship and loads of fun. There is so much to do.

Have a great trip and I'll get you that other theme night info as soon as I can.
