Default state rooms

We just booked a state room catagory DA on deck 10 aboard the Adventure of the Seas. But i wanted to know if anyone knew the big difference in Cat D1 as from DA. We were in Catagory C on the voyager and loved it. but has not sure about going down a step.

Like first class on an airplane, it is all about space...

here are the dimensions:

C - 277 SqFt... Balcony 69 SqFt
D1-D9 - 188 Sq Feet, Balcony 50 SqFt
DA, DB - 173 SqFt, Balcony 47 SqFt

Just 15 sqft difference between D1 and Da/b.

Ernie

We just had a DA on the Explorer. We thought it was plenty big enough but we didn't spend much time there. I have a lot of pictures of our cabin on webshots if you want to look for yourself. Feel free to email me if you have any other questions. Here is the address of my pictures - http://community.webshots.com/user/jean_lynd

We just returned from the Explorer and had a D9. My husband and I swear that we will never book anything less then a C, as long as we can afford it. We are big nappers and would have enjoyed a little more space, ESPECIALLY in the bathroom. Despite the cabin size the cruise was absolutely AMAZING!!!!

Jean,
Thanks for the wonderful slide show! We really enjoyed it. Great photos!

Can you tell us, would your DA cabin have been big enough for 4? we are considering a Dec. 2003 cruise on the Navigator and will be traveling with our 2 sons (teenagers).

Thanks.
