I checked the temp the other day in Fl and it was only 45, now that is our high here today in Oh. so i won't complain. I just hopw that we don't get anymore snow this year too, i will scream with you, but i haven't had a whole lot either, so i can't really complain.
this is how bad it is in va. i live in norfolk, we got 1 inch of snow or maybe it was one foot any way not enough to to keep the roads covered the next day. they shut down all of hampton roads no school no work. now thas just sad. i mean i cant complain too much i get a free day off from work. but they do this everytime it snows lol..
what is this .............snow? yall keep talking about................... oh it's that stuff the people down here travel north to play in!
the next picts i post will be from the carnival cruise and then the disney, i don't have much of just the ship, so you will have to look at me and my wife ............ sorry!
Well i can't say that i have had that much!! prob about just a couple of inches, just to make the roads bad, but nothing to close the schools or work, see i would love to have a snow day, but i think that they has to be at least 12 ft of snow before they would close my work down!
well, when you get down here they close the schools and work places at the drop of a hat!
if we get so much as a flurry, all hell breaks loose and the stores sell out of bread and milk, everything is shut down, it is kinda silly!
Ok....I live in Buffalo and read this board every single day! Every day, I want to call RCCL and book a cruise!
We have had at least 4 days this winter that it has snowed at least 8 inches or more. All the other days were 6 inches or less. I could blow 1 inch of snow off the street myself with my own breath! lol
You people are torturing me!!!!!!! lol
Right now, we have snowbanks in the street as high as my hips and they are completely frozen solid due to the heat wave we had a couple weeks ago when it hit 40...only to drop to 10 degrees overnight and produce more snow and ice!
Speaking of SNOW.......We live in Northern Michigan and have really gotten alot of the white stuff this year! We do LOVE it. We are snowmobilers, skiiers, etc.etc. (therefore, my email name of "arcticcat") HOWEVER, we are really looking forward to our little break on the SOS 4/2. It will be a much needed and appreciated change. We are in the middle of a winter storm today and should be getting 10" of snow. We have had well over 4 feet so far this winter. You can actually walk off the roof of our garage and step right onto the snowbank. The kids have been sledding off the roof on shovels into the bank. It's quite a sight. And, the schools NEVER close for something like this! It has to be really bad to close school. Makes you feel better now, eh?
