I appreciate the analogy but would portofino be a bit better in quality than the olive garden, a chain? On our upcomng cruise they are touting the alt. rets as a "superior dining expeprience". What are the extra costs for chops & portofinos?--we are on Brilliance next yr.
I also woul drecommend chops before portofinos- You just cannot go wrong with chops and the selection they had. Portofinos was good but I didn'd find it outstanding.
I was on the sister ship to the brilliance, the radiance. It was 20 per restaurants including tip but you have so many selections of appetizers and whatnot that the money was well spent! I am hungry just thinking about it. It was $10 for a lucnh at portofinos so maybe you can try lunch there? Happy eating- let me know if you have more questions!
