Default balconies on the "bump"

We just booked cabin 9318 which is a balcony suite on the "bump" of the ship - that part that seems to stick out. It sounded like an interesting location but is it? Have any of you been in one of the "bump" rooms and can give some insight? Thx!

Which ship are you talking about?

We stayed on the hump on the Navigator and will be on the Serenade as well. If you're in the middle (of the hump) you can see forward and aft otherwise you can just see forward or aft. We enjoyed it, our cabin was very convenient to elevators and stairs. You will have a great time! When and where are you going?

Must be Voyager class? And we have done the hump on a few different ships and always enjoyed the view plus the central location is nice (still prefer aft balconies tho).

Have a corner "hump "on Brilliance facing forward--looks like we will have a bigger balcony---can't wait

Oops, sorry. I forgot to add the important info. The cabin is on the Adventure of the Seas and we are traveling the Southern Caribbean on Sept 19th.

We will be sailing on the Mariner next year. Our cabin is 7316 which is on the bump. The elevators are by us. Anyone been in this cabin? If so, was there much noise from the elevators and stairs outside the door.

We had one on the Navigator. It was a very nice cabin, large balcony and good location.

Evie, I can't recall our cabin # on the Explorer but it was about where yours is and yes the noise was distracting at times (especially the late nite imbibers with no volume control) but we just figured that was the reason it was not a premium price. Would I book there again? Absolutely! The hump is worth it (pun intended).
