We chose late dining (8:30 PM) for our family of 6, because we figure that between all of us, we won't all be able to come together until the end of the day for dinner. Will we miss any of the shows, though, with a late dining seating? Do they offer the shows before dinner? What about the ice show?
I tried to calll RCI, but the so-called customer service person was useless and couldn't answer anything, other than to say "They will tell you when you board."
We always choose late seating and have never missed a show. It seems that some of the shows are before dinner and some are after. The large production shows are usually scheduled twice a night to accomedate both seatings. The ice show had several performances. You had to go stand in line and get tickets for the time you prefer. The tickets are free. The reason they do this is so everyone will not show up at the same time because Studio B (where the ice show is held) is fairly small. Check your Daily Compass the night before (your cabin steward will put it in your room) and that will give you all the information for the following day. All show schedules, port schedules, bar hours, etc.
