Went on the Rhapsody back in Oct. on a 7 day out of Galvaston there was 7 of us
we had three inside cabins. 2 were first time cruises , made beliveres out them.
The Rhapsody may be an older ship but is wonderfully mantained the food in the
dining room was well prepared and presented wonderfully. If you got something you didn't care for they are happy to bring you something else. The ship was full when
we went but never seemed to crowded plenty of public space. My girls are teens
so they hung out together but saw kids in the program on ship and they were
having a good time. We sail again in April on NCL Spirit can hardly wait.\
Relax and enjoy.
My husband and daughter went on the half day fishing back in Oct.
they had a really great time they caught 9 fish between them
1 marlin, 3 tuna, 2 mahi-mahi and som other ones can't remember
what kind. Going to barbados on the Spirit in Apr. and plan to fish
in Antigua, Hope this helps.
We were on Rhopsody Feb 6-13, 05, The food was wonderful and very well presented, highly recommend the pork chops with a cranberry-apple type sauce, it was out of this world! Our waiters SPOILED us big time! They were great and got extra tips! Our room stewards, John & Maria did an excellent job! We had a wonderful time! Loved Key West, We were there on Mardi Gras, it was great! We were'nt able to go to Grand Cayman as scheduled which was a disappointment, but did have a great view of Cuba and it's military patrol boat that was out making sure we didn't get too close, (I guess) on our way to Costa Maya. Had a good time just hanging out there, and shopping. This was my 2nd time to stop in Cozumel, it's still one of my favorite ports! I think you'll have a good time on Rhapsody!
Should have been to the website sooner but too tired and too busy after cruise. Sorry, sorry, sorry.
Rhapsody was terrific, our family had a great time. Food was very good and our waiter was incredible. One of my granddaughters is a fussy eater and he went out of his way to be sure she had what she wanted.
Cabins were what is expected for an inside cabin. Plenty of room for me & teen age granddaughter, even storage in drawers & closets for both of us.
Although Rhapsody is an older ship, she was in pretty good shape and we really enjoyed her.
My only negative was the trip from Houston to Galveston. That was a pain. I'm spoiled because usually I fly into the city where the port is located.
Definitely ewould recommend Rhapsody to others.
We are going on the Brilliance tothe Medditeranen this fall. has anyone been on this cruise. How were the ports of call. Was it difficult to arrange port tours and was there enough time to enjoy the ports. thanks
