We have first seating for dinner (6:15p) and just wondering if our luggage will arrive to cabin on time to change for dinner in the dining room. We plan to dress very comfy to board, shorts and t's, and bring along swim suits, but we just don't have room enough to bring an additional change of clothes for dinner in our carry on. I suppose if it doesn't arrive on time, dinner in the Windjammer will have to do. Any thoughts?
Our luggage did not arrive before dinner but that didn't stop us from eating dinner in the dining room. No one expects you to look appropriate if you don't have your luggage. We did eat a late lunch in the Windjammer after we boarded the ship. We only had a short time to look around before the ship left. Then we went to dinner in the dining room and saw the show at the Palace Theatre. It wasn't until after the show that we received our luggage.
Remember, you are there to have fun. Don't let yourself miss out on anything!
If you get to the port earlier enough, you will probably have your luggage long before dinner time. We are usually unpacked before we sail. On our last cruise (Navigator 2-12-05) our room steward introduced himself and then promptly said he would go and find our luggage. When we came back from lunch we had our luggage.
