Internet access??

Does anyone know if you can buy unlimited access to the internet without bringing your laptop? We are going on the Explorer in October. If you can, do you know how much it costs?

On the EX you can get unlimited access for USD 100.-/week in your "cyber cabin".

Although, to get the internet access in your cabin, you will need your laptop.

It was $50 for 120 minutes in the internet cafe. I think it was 55 cents a minute if you don't buy a package rate in the cafe. If you bring your laptop it is unlimited in the room for $100. It is dial up and slow.

It is very very slow, 50 cents a minute. I used the internet several times on the Voyager because we were at sea so much, repositioning cruise, I had to go to the desk three times and ask them to credit my account, because internet went down just as I was hitting the send key. All in all I found it to be a very stressful experience. I guess the best way to do it, is to buy a block of time, since it was at least $4.50 or 5.00 everytime I did it. I was communticating with my kids so I sent one and email with a CC to the otherone so I only had to send one message.

Foget the internet on Voyager. I spent 18 min to try and pay a ebay bid that I had won...lost connection just as I was ready to hit pay!$$#@# Paid for my purchase when we got home. Too expensive and painfuly S L O W!! It this part of the plan? RCCL wants us to "get out there" and if we are buried on the net no one will play Bingo!
