airfare

We are a party of 15 leaving on VOS on 11-26-05. I have always been a party of 3, so this is my first time with a large crowd. Can anyone tell when what is the best site to find cheap cheap airafare, and when is the best time to book the flight, especially given the time of year we are traveling?

I suggest you do it now. Is that Thanksgiving week? Where are you flying from/to? You might have a hard time getting a flight at this point.

We were told it would be best to fly on Thanksgiving since most college students fly home a day or two before that. We are leaving on the Liberty that same day and bought our airfare over a month ago. I found it cheapest to fly a redeye ON Thanksgiving night, arriving Friday morning early into Fort Lauderdale. We are staying 1 day post cruise, therefore flying out Sunday morning and that also helped lower our fare. I checked out the same flights now and they are $170 more! We are flying JetBlue from LAX to FLL. We usually book with Travelocity. You can see which airline has the best deal. But since you have so many travelers you might have to call Travelocity or the specifi airline itself and do it all over the phone directly.. Of course you will need everyones correct name as it appears on their IDs.
