? about passport holders and airline security

We have cruised several time before and have gone thru airline security but still do not know the answer to this.

Do passport/ticket holders that are generally worn around the neck pass thru the security OK. I am not comfortable having to put cash, passports, tickets, etc. in my carryon or exposed openly in the tubs that go thru the xray machine. The one I have is non-metal as not to set off the alarm.

Thanks,

Cliff

Yes, you should have no problem. Those document holders normally even just use plastic if they have zippers, so won't cause any problems going through security.

When I traveled earlier this month, I was always told to remove my neck wallet before passing thru the metal detector. I had to put it in one of those tubs. They will tell you to take it off before passing through.

DH and I have always just kept our cash, passports and tickets in our pockets with no problems. Of course money clips and loose change go in my purse.
