Default non alcoholic drinks

Never sailed on this line before, leaving on Jewel of Seas in two weeks. Do they offer any beverages (water, juice) at a self serve station for free? Or do you recommend buying on of those unlimited soda/juice cards? I have a 10 and 11 year old, that is why I am concerned. Thanks.

Default "soda/juice card"

Soda is not 'Free' (or even included)
Id say go for the soda/juice card if you/or yoru children are soda/juice drinkers...it costs (according to RCI website) $4. per day per child for the lenght of the cruise+15% tip( only available the first day of the cruise and only availble for the entire length of the cruise) I think sodas are about $2.30 (including the automatic addition of 15% tip on all drink orders) so if your kiddos drink an average of 2 or more per day...well worth the $. Lemonaide, tea, coffee and ice tea are served with meals, juice is also 'included' at breakfest...
(FYI) Adult soda/jucie card is $6. per day/per person...
Have fun!!

Thank you for your advice, I will purchase these, it seems foolish not to even though they are not soda guzzlers!

get a soda card for them if they really like soda. juice & water is unlimited on all of the ships ive been to, theres just a self-serve machine, cups & ice on deck. but soda you have to go to the bar with your soda card.
so, id go with the soda card! some ships even give you insulated mugs, so you dont need the card...you just show them the cup,and theyll fill it for you
