Default Kids on Mariner apr 2, 2006

Looking to see if anyone else is bringing their Kids on a cruise for Spring Break. We are bring four boys 9, 12, 14, and 16 on Mariner April 2nd, 2006.

Son has spoke to one young lady going from England.

Good for the Children/Teens to get to know each other via net/phone/mail prior to meeting in person on the ship.

It would be great for the boys to make life long friends from other states/countries and get together on cruises or vacations.

Just checking to see if anyone else has kids going.

thx...

I'm jealous. I have to wait until July for my next cruise on the Mariner. By the way, life long friends can happen on any type of cruise. My 18 year old son still chats with a girl he met on a weekend cruise on Monarch that we went on almost 2 years ago.

Have to agree about meeting life long friends on cruises. In 1999 our then 14 y/o son met a very nice young lady of 13. They are still in touch and see each other every few months when their busy college schedules permit.

Andrea,

The boys are Ian-16, Christian-14, Parker-12, and Drew-9 years old. We took them on a cruise back in 2002, but wasn't that impressed with the Boy's facilities. In fact the oldest had nothing to do but run the boat by himself.

This year I am hoping they hook up with some other kids to run with. We already met another girl online from England. She is 15.

Please write back. Christian's Email address is rebelyellar@hotmail.com. Ian's (I think) is Californianguy92@hotmail.com.

If you don't get them write back to us at this site. Parker has one too, but not sure what it is.

Thanks for writing. The boys are not excited yet, but we are. In fact I am going on a cruise next weekend.

See ya....

Hey! It's good to hear from you! My family has been on two cruises, the first one was fun, however the last one we went on, Celebrity Century (2004 spring break) i wasn't too excited either. However, in the end i had the time of my life and made life long friends that i still keep in touch with today. Since that cruise i have been dying to go on another one, and what do you know, it's coming up! I think it would be great if we all started talking, especially if the boys aren't excited yet!

Oh they're getting there. The more kids we find on the cruise the happier they get. Me too. I'm just excited that they will have kids their age.

We are going on the Explorer this weekend. Just mom and dad. Can't wait. wb
