Fight for chairs by the pool?

My wife & I are going on the Enchantment in 1 1/2 weeks. We've been on other cruises with Carnival but this will be our first RCI cruise. It seems like on Carnival you always had to fight to get some pool chairs because the pool areas were so full. Is it the same on RCI, the early bird gets the chair.

We were on Mariner of the Seas in early February. We never had a problem getting a seat, but we always did start early and I didn't feel the need to be next to the pool. Our favorite place was two decks up from the main pool just above the sky bar. It was a great area to enjoy the pool activities and to just relax and watch the ocean.

The worst time is in early-mid afternoon on sea days. so as long as you get down there early on sea days you should be fine. otherwise it's really not too bad

last time we were on Enchantment they had great pool attendants who removed items left for long periods of time so others could use the chairs...they also very well supervised the adult pool area & hot tubs---hope same still is true! Never really had a problems getting seats... Enjoy your cruise.
