Default Jewel of the Seas April 2nd

Just wondering if anyone knows why the Jewel is so reasonable priced for the April 2nd Western Carribean 6 nighter? I would think Easter break/Spring Break would be over. Anyone have any ideas? This will be my wife and I's first cruise celebrating our anniversary so I want to make sure we have a great time.

Spring break is different for almost every state or area and college is entirely different than high school or grammar schools. Easter is April 16 so that does't affect the price. We were on Jewel Dec. 11th and that week also had low fares. Absolutely loved the ship; have a great cruise.

Thanks for the info. They are offering a Balcony Garuntee rate that is only $50 over an inside stateroom deck 2. This seems like a great deal no matter where they put us since we will be on the upper floors and have a balcony. Any thoughts on this and if it is a good idea? First time cruiser sorry

Re: Jewel's deck plans; the balcony decks are pretty straight forward and front, back or middle would be acceptable for us. Go and report back with a review. You won't be disappointed; we have been on 18 cruises and Jewel is indeed a sweet ship and absolutely the most beautiful ship we have ever been on.

Just booked Balcony Garuntee and got an E2 Cabin room 8550..What a great location. Almost mid ship..Very happy with it for $50 more than a lower stateroom..
