Freedom on Today Show 5/12

I had an early morning meeting, so I set my VCR, and have almost
finished watching the show....Great feature segments on the Freedom,
just want to see more and more.

Can't wait for our cruise June 25th!!

I caught it just in time for the Christening. Pretty cool. I could do without out some of the stupid commentary by the clueless though.

Lou, Great day here on the Suncoast, huh?? I am getting ready to spend my whole day on the Gulf of Mexico going from bar to bar in my boat. What is everybody else doing today?

Clear, sunny and 80 with a nice seabreeze. It does not get any better. The tanning index is a "10" and I will be practicing for my cruise. 10 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You're right about clueless, but we have to forgive the
cruiseless.

Unbelievable day today!! Unfortunately, still working in
my home office most of the day.

It seems that Barry’s attitude has not been left in Brooklyn, New York. I guess that multi-million dollar deal with the Hilton has brought it back.

I like him and have seen him perform. However, that ‘tude really came through on the show. It was like this is MY show, not the Freedom’s show.

A tear actually came to my eye when the Today Show came on this morning. I wish I could say I was kidding, but it's true.

It's been such a long wait, and now she is here. June 4th cannot get here quickly enough!! And as much fun as it looks like everyone is having....I won't have to get off after only a day or two.

You were not alone...I felt the same way, especially with
the music they had playing.

My first "wonderful and eagerly anticipated" cruise was on the Legend
when it first came out. I choked up when I first saw it in
Acapulco.

Donna, I could just see you in that surfing pool! The girl who was trying it out wiped out every time she went to stand on the board. I bet we'll get pictures of you trying it. At least I hope we do. Make sure MaryLou is nearby with her camera when you try.

I am sure Royal Caribbean officials must have been gritting their teeth when the Today Show kept comparing it to the Titanic. When they were coming back from a commercial break, they were playing the Love Boat theme (which we all know is Princess ). However, Natalie Morales and her flowered bathing cap on the Flow Rider was priceless.

Natalie was such a good sport....looked like she was having a great time!

At least Barry Manilow didn't sing "Beyond the Sea" (although he did mention that it's on his 50's album)

Donna: I was going to re-watch my tape and give you all
the details, but someone else in the family taped over it!!
I was so upset, but nonetheless...it's gone.

Just know that what we saw was spectacular and what we'd
expect. I had hoped to see more of the interior rooms, but of course,
they played up the extraordinary...flow rider, rock wall, boxing
ring, etc.

Now will just have to wait 6 weeks from today til we board.
I'm so excited...kinda wishing I hadn't booked so many shore
excursions, as I want to be sure to see every nook and cranny
of the ship.

I had to work too, so I DVR'd it. And guess what....my family is begging me to erase it now! Okay, okay, so I've watched it a few times! It was great. I agreed that I wasn't crazy about the visual showing it right next to the Titantic. Not a good move! . I can't wait to see the ship in person in September.
